Common Garage Door Issues We Diagnose & Fix
Our service vehicles carry high-cycle springs, cables, rollers, and opener gear kits so most issues can be resolved on the very first visit.
Broken or Weak Springs
Door won’t lift, feels extremely heavy, or you heard a loud bang in the garage? We test spring torque and carry heavy-duty high-cycle torsion and extension springs.
Door Off-Track or Crooked
Rollers popped out of the channel or the door is hanging uneven? We inspect vertical track alignment, jamb brackets, and bent track sections safely.
Opener & Sensor Failures
Door reverses before touching the floor, blinks continuously, or the motor hums without moving? We test photo-eye beams, travel limits, and drive gears.
Frayed or Snapped Cables
Loose cables wrapped around the drum can cause sudden door drops. We inspect aircraft-grade lifting cables, bottom fixtures, and drum set-screws.
Squeaking, Grinding & Rollers
Metal-on-metal grinding noises indicate seized roller bearings or worn center hinges. We check every hinge point and quiet noisy overhead doors.
Preventative Safety Tune-Ups
Routine safety inspections catch worn hardware before you get trapped in the driveway. Ideal for doors over 3 years old that haven’t been balanced.
